MMC International is continually updating its MMC WebReporter Systems.com licensing and co-promotion/co-marketing opportunities databases. Every few months, all records are reviewed to insure that the information contained is timely. Various third-party databases, financial community reports, press releases, company contacts, and company pubications and web sites are utilized to form the basis for MMC's analysts opinions relative to the availability of a given product for in-licensing and/or co-promotion. Generally, more than half of the products presented are based upon MMC's opinion and are not listed as available for licensing by pipeline sources or the respective company's web site and/or literature.
CUSTOMIZATION
The reports may be customized by therapeutic area(s) and/or diseases as specified by the client (a list of diseases/conditions/diagnoses organized by MMC into defined therapeutic areas is supplied); by phase of development; and by major country or worldwide (major countries are defined as: the United States, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, UK, Japan, and the rest of the world). Each report is prepared and individually checked for timeliness when the order is received.
SUPPORT SERVICES
In addition to being able to supply customized MMC Licensing Opportunties Reports, MMC has developed proprietary processes to quickly identify therapeutic areas and potential products that a company may want to pursue. The proven MMC process, which is managed by an MMC consultant, allows an internal company team to generally screen and prioritize potential product opportunities in one to two days. The exercise also produces a list of products that the company reviewed and rejected, and the reason the company was not interested. This listing is for future reference in case an inquiry is received for which a response will be needed.
The process also defines, refines or reinforces the criteria the company is using to identify potential in-license targets. This process may also be utilized to identify potential company acquisitions or potential companies to contact for out-licensing efforts.
